Mother Nature has blessed us with beautiful weather this week! We have taken every opportunity possible to bask in the outdoors and experience all of the activities going on. I hope your family is too!!

Joplin Public Library has really great programs currently in progress. You can join in on them at any time. I went by and spoke with the Teen Department today, they have really went above and beyond to find "something" for everyone there. You can currently receive a Summer Library Card for your kiddo (all ages of kids) FREE even if you live outside city limit! Exciting Right!!? The Teen Summer Challenge has kicked off, you can begin participation any week of your choice, throughout the summer. Potentially win prizes each week when you enter! Ask Beth for details in the Teen Department. Literally, programs every day happening at JPL!! The Children's Department has a complete agenda for the summer as well. All events will be posted on our calendar as we receive them.
You are most likely preparing for Father's Day. It is right around the corner after all, June 19th! We have a few things to get you a nice head-start. Father's can be so tasking, they seem to have everything they could ever need or want. Perhaps he might like a trip out to the farmers market, Dad's love these, it's like going back in time to the days of ole. Not that they're "old" or anything.... Dad's just appreciate the simpler days. Farmers Markets often remind them of this. Bonus, get fresh produce while your there!! A new grill, a bit cliche, but often needed. I mean after all, they do grill up some mean grub on that thing. A day of rest; who doesn't want a day of rest!? Joplin Macaroni Kid's favorite Father's Day idea....a great family outing! I'm sure the whole family would love to get out and experience some family time with Dad. He works so hard, all work and no play = sad Dad. Nobody wants that! We have events posted on the calendar already so you can start your planning early. We do our best to keep everything on the calendar free and extremely low cost.
City Wide Sales around the local area this weekend. Maybe you can sneak away to find some good deals. Find the kids a local VBS to attend. Always full of fun, crafts & enriching games. Joplin offers a variety when it comes to entertainment. This week is no different. Download our app for easy access of the week ahead. I won't see you again before Thursday... It's about that time again for Third Thursday! Mark your Calendar!!

Facebook algorithms are not nice to "LIKED" pages these days. They tend to hide, and you miss out if your settings are not correct. Just a FYI. I never knew until someone spoke up recently, they had changed again. I mean, who can keep up!?
